Explore Ethiopian coffee, discover waterfalls and see Elephants

Heading west to the town of Mizan Tefari we will cycle along quite roads with stunning vistas across forested valleys, with colobus monkey in the trees. This is the home of coffee, and we will visit an extraordinary coffee farm, camping under the forest canopy. We will learn about the coffee bean as it goes from young seedling to harvest, drying and we will taste amazing coffee. During the harvest season we will see red coffee cherries on the tress (Sep-Dec). We will visit some spectacular waterfalls. We will cross rivers and ride through lush countryside, even seeing tea plantations too. The trip will continue into the national park of Chebera Churchura- where we will ride our bikes and with a little luck see elephants.

On the last day we will head north to Jimma, and do some of the way on bikes.
